‘‘Create a Universe‘‘

“In my works I try to create a universe where any stander by is taken out of the conventional reality and thrown in the middle of unexpected situations. What is it about your studio space that inspires you?

It is full of good energy

What sounds, scents and sights do you encounter while in your studio?

Sometimes I prefer a deep silence.

What is your favourite material to work with? How has your use of it evolved throughout your practice?

Everything that fits to my idea.

What themes do you pursue?

Identity, the inner world

What advice has had the biggest impact on your career?

To trust your work

If you could install your art absolutely anywhere, where would that be?

I prefer special exhibitions places where the works have a dialog with the entire space. It can be an old church or a contemporary building and doesn’t matter as long as I’m content.

If you could only have one piece of art in your life, what would it be?

“Garden of earthly delights” by Hieronymus Bosch

If you weren´t an artist, what would you be doing?

Anything that involves creativity
