Alfred Banze, born in 1958 in Kirchbauna, Germany, diploma in fine arts, University Kassel in 1987, postgraduate studies in media art at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne in 1995, lives and works in Berlin and on the road. In 2010 he founded the Camping Academy e.V. with Christine Falk and became a member of Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts and Culture in 2018. In 2022 he takes part in documenta 15 with Baan Noorg and their project "Churning Milk: the Rituals of Things".
