The human mind and body in its ambiguous states, in their beauty and ugliness, is what I explore in the language of painting with sincerity and humour.
Without knowing what will happen, I start the intuitive process of moving the material (oilpaint, acrylic, gouache) on the canvas to build forms and fragments, reacting to each other. They often turn into heads, faces and body parts reflecting on a self, a feeling or an idea.
