HYDRA

Hydra belongs to the color group "25 Colors Stockholm" and to the sequence "Callisto & Co", a series of paintings united by the choice of colors, image size and their titles and thus their subtile background. The complexity of the individual painting also exists in the consideration of the sequence. The charged titles from Greek mythology are to be understood both as a reference to those complex relationships and to the insolubility of vital interaction. It is not so much a matter of tracing the image itself, but quite classically, as modernly and timelessly, of perceiving the living itself.

Hydra gehört zur Farbgruppe „25 Farben Stockholm“ und zur der Sequenz "Kallisto & Co", einer Reihe von Gemälden, die durch die Farbwahl, Bildgröße und ihre Titel und somit ihrem subtilen Hintergrund geeint sind.
Die Komplexität des einzelnen Bildes besteht auch in der Betrachtung der Sequenz. Die aufgeladenen Titel aus der griechischen Mythologie sind sowohl als Hinweis auf jene komplexe Zusammenhänge, als auch auf die Unlösbarkeit vitaler Wechselwirkung zu verstehen. Es spielt weniger ein Rolle, das Bild selbst nachzuvollziehen, sondern ganz klassisch, wie modern und zeitlos, das Lebendige selbst wahrzunehmen.
