Klaus Jörres has been developing painting in between digital and analogue since 2000. Exhibited at Daimler Art Collection, Pace Gallery NY, VeneKlasen Werner, Armory Show, Zona Maco, Art Cologne +. He lives in Berlin, Germany. In his practice he primarily creates paintings based on renderings from open source software, manipulating the basic visual structure of our perception, the grid. The cybernetic color palette, in combination with randomly rotations, overlays, repetitions, cutouts and other transformations of the linear structures, develops images oscillating between landscape representation, classic abstraction and techie disruption.
