Chaotic landscapes of fragmented female figures that you see in drawings such as "Legacy Landscape" (2019) and "Sites of Inflammation" (2018/9) are important works that took me to the root of the feminine – exploring the reclamation of her history and her insistence on identity, sexuality and visibility as a result. My drawings and paintings are uncensored, and it is the speed at which I am able to work that helps me to generate new ideas for translation in the outer world. They lead to new dialogues and the freedom and clarity to create performative interventions in the form of sculptural or digital works that offer a playful reprieve and comment on our everyday existence.
