Since 2012 the Berlinische Galerie has been acquiring the Videoart at Midnight Edition for its collection. To mark Gallery Weekend 2016, the Berlinische Galerie now presents Videoart at Midnight, using the IBB Video Space to screen a versatile selection of those high-calibre works from the collection - in particular: Sven Johne, Greatest Show on Earth, 2011 / Martin Skauen, Slideshow Johnny, Waterproof, 2013 / Mathilde ter Heijne, Lament, Song for Transitions 2014 / Erik Schmidt, Parking, 2001 / Marcel Odenbach, Im Schiffbruch nicht schwimmen können (Foundering, and You Can\\\'t Swim), 2011 / Antje Majewski, Nest, 2012 / Armin Linke, Nuclear Voyage 2008.
Dr. Thomas Köhler, Director of the Berlinische Galerie and Olaf Stüber will present the opening ceremony on April 30th at 12pm | noon.
