RISE berlin presents a small exhibition of small paintings by Lee Wagstaff. "A Sows Ear Never Intended for Purse-hood " is a collection of small oil paintings - each executed in a day or less. Each painting a a response to an event, experience or image over a 20 day period. What at first seems to be a random set of images become a an aggregate portrait of a middle aged. mid career artist laying literal and figural ghosts to rest.
