In my paintings I want to be as edgy as possible, so I expand my thinking further into that direction.

Before actually starting to paint, I think very long about How to make a painting.

The execution of painting itself shouldn’t take too long - a day or two (depending scale).

I work opposite to abstract expressionists, without spontanous gesture of emotion.

What most interested me is the procedure of making a painting, thats why i think long time about that.

The surface of the picture, the color, more precisely said the application of color is very important.

It should be soft and vulnerable, the swinging of color should be clear.

I like contradictions and dualities.

The lines and edges are painted freehand, they shall show the hand.

The fields are explicit but within the color and the field the brushstroke is to be seen.

That contrast gets me, it reminds me of something I know, something that is just like me, like nature or life itself.

It could be an attempt to visualize the spiritual.

My work is abstract and non - objective.

The picture should be pure, without referencs.

Lines are created by fields hitting. For painting color is essential and for color it's the field, the expanse.

No illusionary depths.

For me art is equal to society. It doesn't need to comment, illustrate or represent it.

I try the materialisation of thought.

When I paint, I want to know exactly what i'm doing, therefor I paint the picture first in my mind. For hours - and days.

Sometimes weeks or even years. What appears pure and 'simple' is training for years.

Art is free, it must not subdue to enforcement of society, to everyday life or the rituals of love.

The painting is itself.

Freedom and spirituality could be put as theoretical aim.

The relevance is to be measured within it's own means.
