Christine Krämers artistic work includes 3 areas:

All works deal with landscapes.

Her aim is to show in pictures places that you can enter with a simultaneous feeling of nowhere.

The fear of death and death and the fear of dying has always been a big topic for her.
Her work helped a lot in this question.
It is, in a sense, a confrontation with death, the fear of death, with what will come when we are no longer here.
She perceives the world as a place where in the shortest time and probably always, too little will be for too many and the overcomplexity of earthly life robs her the hope for a real improvement of living conditions for very, very many beings.

That's why she really likes to mentally stop in places that are not in place, because it seems to be an alternative to the material existence.

"The artist's core interest lies in where she thinks and visualizes possibilities, how three-dimensionality merges into or connects to multi-dimensional connections." Christoph Tannert

This moment of paradox has something very liberating, reassuring and expanding for her.

She has experienced in her work that the change of media - from oil painting to computation to photography, in that each medium creates its own pictorial world, helps her to recognize her question more and more clearly.

Her paintings are inot a landscape painting in the classical sense. The landscape is broken, irritating, disturbing, cold and shows otherworldly places.
The images are created through an interplay of individual picture elements that are always painted both in detail and in the picture as a whole. Each individual element is a landscape in itself, intended as the place where heaven and earth meet.
Due to the multitude creates a strong spatially irritating uncertainty so that sets a floating sense of Ortlosigkeit that still think of a place.

The Computations (A collaborative work with her brother Andreas Krämer, who is working as an architect at SAP and therefore was able to create a tailor-made program with the help of which she could translate the concept of her painting into virtual space)
also deal with similar landscapes only that they have even less reference to terrestrial landscapes.
The aesthetics of mathematics (the process of calculating the image) leads to very own, surprising optical phenomena, which appear very scenic.

The photography illustrates the farewell to the earthly landscape because it is characterized by a strong melancholy and transience with simultaneous joy.
