In the work 1517/658/B, created with a chainsaw in combination with acrylic and pigments, I wanted to capture the infinite complexity and diversity of nature. The abstract form cut with chainsaws is reminiscent of an organic network that stands out from the deep black. The “golden texture” symbolizes vitality and energy radiating in a dynamic, almost explosive pattern. This image is intended to inspire its viewers to reflect on the hidden beauty in the everyday and how enlightenment can grow from darkness. It will bring a powerful, energetic presence to any home.

I have been a full-time artist since 1993, with no side jobs. In 2017, after a stay in Australia, I developed the VISBCOR technique. In this technique, I use a chainsaw to cut my motifs into the back of Plexiglas panels so that these incisions are three-dimensional and face forwards. I then work on these panels with acrylic paints, which sometimes change the colors extremely depending on the light and perspective.

This VISBCOR technique is UNIQUE WORLDWIDE.
