This sculpture depicts a veiled woman standing with her belly open and filled with fine wire.
Made of epoxy resin painted in royal blue, The Unveiled expresses the tension between the outer shell — smooth, opaque, symbolically protected — and the inner turmoil — tangled, vulnerable, marked by invisible scars.
The work speaks of unveiling — not what is shown, but what emerges in spite of the veil: intimacy, fragility, and the unspoken.
It questions feminine identity, the weight of representation, and the courage to make visible what is usually held inside.
