“Transcendence”

This fabric artwork titled "Transcendence" was assembled of different fabrics like cotton, velvet, bleach, buried bed sheet and polyester fabric and was then stretched over a stretched canvas to protect the seams. The once immaculate white bed sheet was buried in the soil of my friends' property in Los Angeles for 8 months and the came out stained by the dirt and the effect of moisture and microorganisms on it.

The composition is a depiction of light shining through the core of spirit and shining the light above everything.
