New in the way of working since 2020 is the use of painting as a tool in order to subsequently create hand-signed reproductions in limited editions. Laminated under acrylic glass, the 4mm thick acrylic sheet creates a 3-D effect with an additional depth effect.
The artist is very interested in the perception of art. Upon request, she will contrast the originals with the reproductions in order to enable the viewing experience. The original, surrounded by the artistic aura, gives way to the clean acrylic glass work. Does this more represent the current zeitgeist, of smooth, flawless being?
